Stanley W. Fields, Chairman
With a life-long interest and passion for renewable energy, Stanley is the founder of Climate Clean, Inc. and serves as its Chairman of the Board.
Stanley’s major philanthropic activities include serving on the Corporate Board of the Environmental Media Association as well as serving as a counselor and senior advisor to a number of prominent individuals around the world.
Prior to Stanley’s climate change initiative, he was engaged in news/talk radio formats nationwide for nearly a decade. During this period he created, produced and hosted an award-winning nationally-syndicated radio program, winning the prestigious “Outstanding Media Achievement Award” from Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber.
Stanley resides with his family, artist Viktoria La Paz, 6-year-old daughter Kitty Cymbeline, two horses, two cats and one dog in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Dave Newman, Director of Operations
Dave Newman brings twenty-five years experience in climate & energy, logistics, finance and accounting within Nike. His experience spans the entire supply chain processes from manufacturing to warehouse to retail and has rolled out projects that resulted in millions of dollars in savings, increased efficiencies and improved service levels. Dave’s work includes developing climate strategies and managing energy efficiency programs for Nike’s contract manufacturing. Dave’s management of the global climate reporting initiative to the Carbon Disclosure Project and Climate Counts resulted in Nike achieved the highest rating of any company from Climate Counts in 2008. His programs revealed millions of dollars in energy savings potential for Nike’s contract factories.
Dave Newman has partnered with the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry to pilot energy efficiency within apparel and equipment contract manufacturing. He has also partnered with key climate organizations such as The Climate Group, World Resources Institute (WRI) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to explore energy efficiency opportunities with supply chains for top 100 companies. Dave co-founded Business for Social Responsibility’s Clean Cargo Working Group, the first shipper/ocean carrier collaborative work group to measure impacts of global ocean transportation. Dave maintains an extensive network with leading climate thinkers from US and European companies that provide information and feedback on current climate issues, strategies and policies.
Katy Eymann, J.D., Corporate Secretary
Ms. Eymann is the Corporate Secretary for Climate Clean. A lifelong Oregonian, Ms. Eymann has dedicated her career to protecting the local environment and wildlife as well as the rights of her fellow Oregonians. Her extensive State legislative experience includes fighting for sound allocation of funds for trout production, representing commercial crab fishers for the Oregon Crab Fleet and serving as Chair of the Board for the Oregon Board of Maritime Pilots and Legislative director of the Oregon Chapter of National Organization for Women. Ms. Eymann has also lobbied at the Federal level on behalf of the Dungeness Crab fishing fleets of Washington, Oregon and California.
Ms. Eymann is also passionate about her local surroundings as well. She has drafted several assessments for potential Oregon Solution projects in Coos Bay, Port Orford and Gold Beach, Oregon and is currently working with Port of Port Orford, City of Port Orford, local interest groups, State of Oregon agencies and the US Army Corp of Engineers to find sustainable solutions to the problem of shoaling in the Port of Port Orford harbor.
Ms. Eymann has extensive experience as a public speaker and a business coach and has worked in a variety of upper management and consultant positions for organizations such as Oregon Solutions, Projects Unlimited, Friends of Jim Gilbert and Executive Director of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
Katy received her Doctor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon and resides with her husband, Bill Bradbury, in Salem and Bandon, Oregon.
